This has been Levi's theme song the past few nights! Instead of going to bed around 8 PM and sleeping until 6 AM or later, he has insisted on waking up 3 or 4 times in between. We're not entirely sure what the problem is (4 new teeth coming in, nearing the end of nursing, things that go bump in the night..?), but we're looking forward to the night when he is done with all the interruptions.
After a particularly frustrating night last night, Matt made the following observations this morning:
Things I learned last night:
1. Don't enter Levi's room too quickly in the middle of the night, it tends to scare him.
2. Levi does not like to sit in the middle of the great room floor to "Self Soothe".
Move over Dr. Ferber and Dr. Sears, Dr. Dad is in the house! Seriously though, I am grateful for Matt's willingness to take turns with Levi in the middle of the night. It's cold getting out of bed at 3 AM when it's -10 degrees outside!
